Welcome to the weekend, my pals! That is the final week of my trip from work and I plan to take advantage of it. My brother and his spouse are planning to drive up from Georgia and benefit from the snow with us. (I’m praying that the climate received’t influence that an excessive amount of!) There can be plenty of card video games and puzzles (as a result of I make everybody do them with me now.), video video games and laughter, in addition to oh-so-many of our favourite meals.

We’ll even be making Rooster Cordon Bleu Sliders (from my first cookbook) and naturally, (no shock right here) Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
There’s a endless container of ready-to-eat vegetables for snacking, together with loads of ranch dip. There’s additionally queso within the fridge, able to warmth, at any time when the craving hits. It’s going to be a really tasty week!

My FAVORITE THING this week continues to be my puzzle board. I’m completely obsessive about it. Would anybody be occupied with seeing what we’re working on each week? For what it’s value, I’m not a flowery puzzle individual in any respect. About 500 items is the restrict more often than not for me, as I don’t prefer to spend greater than a day or so randomly engaged on a puzzle and rather more than that’s only a LOT of items to kind and take care of too. I’ve mad respect for anybody who does puzzles with hundreds upon hundreds of items. I can’t even think about that!
What I’m LISTENING to: Hymns by Joey + Rory. Sure, I’m formally listening to music my mom enjoys. (Full disclosure, I don’t love all the pieces on this album, however I get pleasure from extra of it than I don’t.) I don’t even know who I’m proper now. Puzzles and old-school gospel hymns are in my favorites listing. There are worse folks I may try to emulate. Love you, Mother.
What I’m READING: My oldest son and I are studying A Call to Spiritual Reformation by D.A. Carson and doing a casual Bible examine with it. Up to now, I find it irresistible. (Zero doubts this can be a 5 star assessment, so I’m assured recommending it whereas we’re nonetheless mid-study.)
